Why do you need user experience design?

Many companies have been creating application for many years. In this process, most of the user interface are built and designed by developers or program managers. Their focus and expertise is typically on creating good code and business process, not creating good user interfaces. Most of the products today are complex, ugly and hard to work with. Today it is seen as a business advantage to have a great user experience. A good example of a well-designed user experience is Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with the new RoleTailored client.

User experience design

I do user interface refresh, redesign or design from the start, for your application with a user focus. This makes your product more attractive, user friendly, and easier to expand on the marked.


The user experience refresh process usually does not require any deep analysis or usability health testing. I will quickly review the application and register the pain points. I will then come up with design solution to these issues.

The user experience redesign process usually includes a deep analysis, preferably with a usability health test. The user experience of the product will be analyzed in deep, and any issues will be documented.
For Microsoft Dynamics AX applications my focus will be set on aligning to Microsoft Dynamics AX guidelines.
The user experience design from the start process should be parallel the design phase of the software. In the design phase of software design it is valuable to have a user experience specialist as a sparring partner. I am available in this process and will make sure user requirements and user needs are incorporated into the user interface right from the beginning.
As a sparring partner in the design and implementation phase I will be leading a User Centered Design process, either solo or with team.
